MindElite Privacy Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

MindElite is a study app. Students photograph textbook pages or import PDFs, and the app makes quizzes, study guides and practice exams from them. This policy explains what the app collects, where it goes, and how to delete it.

How AI is used

When you make a quiz, Study Hub or essay grade, the app sends the page images or text, the subject and the grade level to our server (a Supabase function and a Cloudflare Worker). The server sends them to Google's Gemini API, which writes the material and sends it back. Our server does not store your pages.

Under Google's terms for the paid Gemini API, Google does not use this content to train its models; Google may keep it for a limited time to detect abuse. See the Gemini API terms.

AI can make mistakes. The app labels AI-made material and lets you report errors. Check anything important with your teacher.

Purchases

Subscriptions and credits are sold through Apple. Apple handles payment; we receive only the purchase status, never your card details.

Students and parents

MindElite is meant for students aged 13 and over, or for younger students when a parent sets up the account. A parent can create the account, add a profile for each child and see each child's progress. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13 without a parent's involvement. If you believe a child's information was provided without consent, email us and we will delete it.

Deleting your account and data

Security and retention

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are stored in the iPhone Keychain. Database rows are protected so that each login can reach only its own profiles. We keep your data until you delete it or your account. Usage counts without your content may be kept for cost records.
